Brownsville Elementary is a K–5 Albemarle County public school in Crozet, Virginia, serving much of the town's western and southern side — including large parts of Old Trail, Western Ridge and Foothill Crossing. It is a Responsive Classroom school, meaning social and emotional skill-building is written into the instructional model rather than added on top of it.
Every Brownsville student continues to Joseph T. Henley Middle School and then to Western Albemarle High School, so the elementary zone decides the first six years and nothing after that.
